GRE Revised Test Pattern for 2011

Educational Testing Service (ETS), a subsidiary of Graduated Record Examination Board of the United States revised the model test of Ends Record Exam (GRE) for 2011, which is a common prerequisite for all candidates Graduate School.


Revised GRE General Test sections (GRE 2011)

1) analytical writing (essay) section with two separate writing tasks in time.
2) Two verbal reasoning (in English) Articles
3) Two quantitative reasoning (math) sections
    
One unscored section, usually verbal reasoning or quantitative reasoning section, which may arise at any point of the test

Revised GRE General Test Scoring 

The revised model test has a scale score that reports of verbal reasoning and quantitative reasoning results in a scale score 130-170 in increments of 1 point. Analytic Writing (AWA), who received the notes continue to be reported on the same 0-6 score scale, half a point.

GRE sites Order 

Analytic Writing section will always be first, and five sections appear in random order.

Revised GRE General Test length 

Total test time for the new GRE General Test is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes, shorter breaks to the person tested. There are six sections of the test day:

Additional parts of the test:

Unidentified unscored section does not count result can be included and may appear in any order after analysis section writing.
Identified research section may be entered in the unscored section. Research section will always appear at the end of the test. Questions in this section are included for research and ETS is not considered a result of the test face.
