Step 20 GRE Study Plan Review

GRE Study Plan

If you are a average student, then the amount of work you have to do is more than in others. Every body do not have the same talent. But with exams such as GRE, GMAT you can get a high score on the practice and effort. Do not decide on your GRE exam dates and start preparing for the exam. You will understand why this is not the right way to prepare for the GRE exam after reading the article below.

Syllabus for the GRE

1. First, you need to know your current skill level and how you can score with the practical test.

2. To determine your current skill level, pass a practical test using Power Prep GRE. Suppose you have got 900 test practices.

3. Next decide how much you want to score in GRE (realistic). It would be nice to score 1600/1600, but you do certain amount of time to study.

4. Your GRE study plan will depend on the following

Type of university you wish to attend
Score you want to get - target score.

5. For example, suppose you have decided on a target score of 1200. Then you need to plan your action plan to achieve the goal

6. Make a detailed note of your strengths and weaknesses of the practical test. To improve your scores, you must work on your weakness.
7. Determine your learning style.

Do you spend time each day fixed
Want to work with another friend prepare for exams
Spend time fixed in two days a week

8. To reach the target score of 1200 in GRE test, the amount of time you spend must be calculated on the basis

          Your learning style
The time you plan to spend daily
          The time from the University
When you are planning to write GRE

9. If you only have 2 months and I need to score 1200 and may spend only one hour a week, then you can expect to score in the GRE between 900 to 1000

10. GRE study materials: Make sure you have enough materials and to the right of test preparation. If you plan to study for 3 months, then you need to have study materials for three months.

11. Having a notebook to track your performance.

12. Spend allocated according to plan. Work on your weaknesses (Words verbal Algebra Mathematics

13. After completing the practical test of the GRE, make sure you spend more time analyzing errors. If you've spent two hours taking the test, spend at least three hours to analyze errors. Instead, if you spend 30 minutes just to see the correct answers, you do not improve your weaknesses.

14. Take note of the mistakes you make and revise weekly. So you will not repeat the same mistakes again.

15. Do not forget to spend time with practice tests in areas of high GRE test.

16. You need to checkpoint your progress. If you have four months to study and the need to improve by 200 points, then every month your score is to improve the score to the target.

17. At the end of two months if you are still scoring 900, then you have to blame you. Back to the study plan and see if you really follow the plan or simply be ad hoc and not self-disciplined enough to follow the plan.

18. If you learned new strategies for a section, during the stress test, you must get the right answers. If you had one week to improve on one section and then end up getting many incorrect answers, then you just lost one week of your preparation time.

19. For example, if you are weak in reading comprehension GRE and have spent one week in learning new strategies and if you still get it wrong, and try new strategies. Resolve 25 days by CR. RC live and sleep, you get it.

20. You must respect your study plan and follow it thoroughly. You need self-discipline to follow the plan and what differentiates people who just dream big and powerful. You can get a attractive invitation to friends to the movies, during your study time and you decide "I will go to the movies and will do until tomorrow." If you can really do, then you are good to take time. Otherwise, you can just like any other loser who will not succeed in getting high GRE score.
